Gästehaus Kerle

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the place was quiet and peaceful. It is a reasonable option for travellers looking for affordable accommodation and a good night’s sleep. The kitchen is useful if you prefer to bring your own food and prepare your own meals.

The amenities are very basic, and the property feels designed mainly for sleeping rather than providing a comfortable overall stay. Although there is a kettle, there was no instant coffee or anything similar provided for guests or not well instructed where we can find them. The Wi-Fi did not work at all in our ground-floor room. Another downside is the location: it takes around 15–20 minutes to walk to the tram stop, which makes getting around less convenient. We also received a €15 parking fine after parking on the pavement somewhere below the property, where several other cars were parked as well. We do not know why our car was fined while the others appeared not to be, maybe we had a polish plate. but it was an unpleasant surprise.
