The room was very clean and the staff very happefull! Great location

The property is beautiful and has several very convenient services. The luggage lockers are useful, and there is a bathroom with a shower nearby, which is particularly convenient for guests arriving before check-in or leaving after check-out. The pool area is also very well equipped, with bathrooms, showers, hairdryers and towels provided for guests. The room was very spacious, clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. It also matched the pictures. The swimming pool is beautiful, and a special mention must go to the pool staff, who were truly wonderful friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was also good.

Unfortunately, our check-in experience was not positive. Check-in was strictly at 2:00 pm, but one of the two rooms we had booked was not ready at that time. The main issue was the way the situation was handled by the reception staff: we found them lacking in availability and friendliness, with difficulty managing the problem and providing a clear indication of how long we would have to wait. We were travelling with a 7-month-old baby and had requested a cot several times. However, when we arrived, the cot was not available and there was a sofa bed instead. We would have expected to be informed. I asked the reception staff to contact housekeeping to get an estimated waiting time and also pointed out that another room could have been assigned to us. Other rooms were still showing as available online and, considering the inconvenience, we would have expected at least an alternative solution or a complimentary upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. The room had an unpleasant view (photo attached), and we experienced unpleasant smells both from the bathroom and from outside. Opening the windows was practically impossible because of the smell. We also believe that more attention should be given to the training of the reception staff, particularly regarding guest welcome, friendliness, communication and the professional handling of problems. Even when an issue is beyond the property’s control, the way it is communicated and managed can make a significant difference to the guest experience. The swimming pool is located outside the main building and is reached by a short walk. We believe this should be communicated more clearly in the property’s presentation, especially considering the price of the stay and the expectations it may create. Access to the property was also particularly difficult. The road was closed due to sewage works and was in very poor condition, with many potholes, standing water and unpleasant smells.

Great location, close to Valleta ferry and a lot of restaurants in the area. Swimming pool is across the hotel and working from 10 am till 6 pm. Breakfast could be better, we had 4 nights in there and it seemed like very repetitive.

A bit run down, bathroom needs some renovation.
