Decent sized room, clean and comfortable

Marketing makes it appear way more high end than it is. The pool and spa have to be paid for and pre-booked ( 35 euros for 45 mins) and is too intimate if you book a slot and are in there with a couple. Too much focus is given to the pool in the marketing. Similarly, there’s a lot of marketing nonsense about this being a wine hotel - when we tried to experience this the desk staff claimed to know nothing about it. In reality, the basement breakfast room ( which you are actively discouraged by room service to use) has a few bottles of wine in it. No use if staff don’t know about this. I also found the head of room service extremely rude. I was given a bottle of water and a glass when waiting for my husband to check out. She took this away from me and was very rude and unfriendly. Although she was required to apologise when I reported this to the manager, she still caused me a significant amount of upset and embarrassment. Definitely not what you would expect in a good hotel.

Really clean, comfortable, quiet hotel which provided a great retreat after long days exploring. Room was a good size and air conditioning was quiet and effective. Linen and towels were changed daily, everything was kept very clean, optional breakfast was really good. It felt very secure and the area, although not touristy or particularly scenic, was more typical of the reality of Paris and felt fine to spend time in.

The hotel is located in a less touristy area and around 10 minutes walk away from the nearest metro, but well worth it for the level of comfort and cleanliness at a reasonable price for Paris. Bathroom door was clouded glass which might mean bathroom trips with the light off for some.
