Amazing place and lovely staff. Everywhere was spotless and I had a very relaxing stay. I hope to come back again in the near future. Short bike ride to the key viewing spots and they are free to use!!!

The staff were interactive, prompt, helpful and incredibly friendly, she assisted me in where to go and what would be best to do during the day and after.

The entrance door was a little short

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kawaguchiko! Even though we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from our room and the location is a bit away from the main tourist area, we still had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable stay. We immediately felt at ease thanks to how clean, stylish, and cozy everything was. The owner was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. At check-in, they took the time to ask about our preferences and walked us through a hand-drawn map, sharing lots of thoughtful recommendations. We also made great use of the complimentary bicycles which are accommodated by house during our stay. Riding along Lake Kawaguchi was such a memorable experience, and we especially loved having a picnic by the lakeside. Since the local buses tend to be crowded and infrequent, getting around by bike made everything easier and allowed us to enjoy our time much more fully. Another thing we really appreciated was the calm and respectful atmosphere among the guests. We were able to relax and unwind in a peaceful environment, away from the crowds. During our trip, we visited a day-use hot spring at another hotel, but unfortunately, the experience there was quite disappointing—some guests left trash like shower caps behind and didn’t seem to respect shared spaces. That contrast made us appreciate this place even more. Personally, I would recommend booking a private Japanese-style room rather than a dormitory. We really valued having our own space, and the futon was incredibly comfortable. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

A bit hard to get around from this location if you are relying on public transportation, even taxis.
