The Fame

The Fame is located on the Promenade between Central and South Piers. The nearest Tram stop is St Chad's Road that is a 3 minute walk. You have the Pleasure Beach and South Pier to your left and central Blackpool, the Tower to your right either is walkable if you're feeling energetic or short Tram Rides. So I can't fault the location. I received a warm welcome and the room was great, not massive but just right for a single traveler. There were others staying, including Families but I found this not to be a problem regarding noise. Breakfast (Full English) is optional and you choose when you get there. I chose this option, and found the Breakfast to be very good, served with tea and orange juice. Whilst I didn't drive, there's parking for 9 cars. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Not much to say here! When going down for Breakfast it is a little confusing where to go as it is quiet and the doors are closed, but I worked it out. Whilst the Shower in the room was great. it took me 10 minutes to work out how to use it! So perhaps some instructions!?

Location was good

We arrived early and was able to check in before the usual time Was in a good place, bed really comfortable, and the room was clean and bright that we stayed in no7

We didn’t see much of the host apart from checking in, couldn’t get the heating on as it was quite cold due to the weather, plus couldn’t have another hot drink as run out of milk sachets , Bar wasn’t open on our arrival day of Friday evening. Apart from that was great

Close to the centre of Blackpool very friendly hospitable owners

NO HOT WATER whilst we where there apparently the boiler broke I did ask when it was going to be fixed but all I got was hopefully soon and no compensation for this inconvenience,also we had a tower fan in the room which was on a 2 hour timer hence in bed at night had to keep switching back on, during this very hot spell it was vital has the room was like an oven
