Donna could not have been more responsive to our questions. The cabin was immaculate, the view outstanding and amenities perfect. This is a nice quiet corner of Maine.

I was honestly a little worried that the reviews of this house seemed too glowing to be true, but the treehouse is truly an exceptional place to stay. Superb views from the deck--its own living space--and the lake is dreamy. The whole area is stunningly beautiful, but our best memories of this trip will be of the house itself: roasting marshmallows and stargazing on the deck, fishing and paddling around the lake while a bald eagle circled overhead. And Donna went above and beyond to make our stay magical!

The view, the deck - worth every penny. Donna is an amazing host and we were blown away when we arrived at the house by the charcuterie boards and wine waiting to welcome us to Maine. The house is VERY clean and extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Everything positive other posts have said about staying at the Treehouse is true. It is a fantastic, out of the way, beautiful location. The house description and amenities are accurately described - clean, terrific view, great features. Donna is a fantastic and generous host. She went out of her way to make sure we felt welcome and knew where to go in the area. Really, the deck steals the show; the view of the water and the lobster boats is wonderful and relaxing. Friendship is a tiny area filled with interesting places and nice people. Every kitchen tool or glassware you could want is available in the house. There is even a griddle! The house is remote and it is a ten minute drive to a market, a half hour or more to a grocery store. This makes star gazing all the better. If you have an EV, charging stations are limited, but the network is expanding - we didn't have any difficulties finding a charging station. We can't wait to return!
