The room was spacious and there was a generous supply of shower gel, cleansing lotion, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner which smelled divine. The yukata and towels were in baskets in the room. The private onsen was larger than I expected and despite being next to a road, I was able to relax (we went on an off-peak season). The warm breeze from the balcony was gorgeous and it was nice just watching the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast offering was of Japanese and Western dishes with a 1-hr time limit; you choose from 2 slots. The sashimi was fresh and the salads were creative. Restaurants were a short walk away and this hotel is a nice downhill walk from the market and train station.

The traffic sounds- this was only a minor inconvenience and a good trade off for the views afforded by the seaview room.

Great location There was no iron in the room, but staff were quick to rectify this and provide us with a steamer

The view from the balcony with a privet bath was only partial to the ocean, mainly to the rusty fire escape of the next building

This should not be called a resort. Its just a decent hotel. Went up to the beautiful pool, it was filthy and full of algae. Only realized when I jumped in with my kid. Pool is very deep and unsafe for kids. I booked this hotel for the rooftop pool which has lovely views. I went down to the staff to let them know about the filthy green water pool. They said sorry the pool is closed till next week. At no point was this communicated to me during checkin process or at the pool through signs. Even the doors to the pool were open. Very disappointed as I paid a lot of money for this hotel. Also they charge an extra fee at check-in for the room baths. Without these pool services this hotel is not value for money.
