Nice little property for 2 people convenient for the centre of Limoux

Great location in the centre of Limoux, a few steps from the best boulangerie in town, L'Escoffe in rue Carcasonne and from the main square with lots of eating options. Convenient location for getting to the multitude of interesting and beautiful places in this wonderful part of France. The apartment was nice and cool in the middle of a heat wave.

Nothing to dislike.

An oasis in Limoux

This property is a country oasis in the town. It would make the most romantic getaway for a couple. If you're planning a longer stay in Limoux, you couldn't really do much better than this cozy spot. Sipping the local sparkling wine while three pet hens hang out with you would be a dream! The hostess is friendly and helpful, although we were initially stumped at how to get in to the property. A washing machine was listed in the description on booking, but it didn't exist at the time of our stay. I'd be wary of the stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom, as they have a narrow, steep, and somewhat slippery tread, without a railing. We did not feel secure, especially on descent. If you have mobility issues, you should be aware of this. Otherwise, though, the whole experience was great. The upstairs layout was brilliant and comfortable, the shower was new with the neatest floor ever! Climate control couldn't be better, and decorative touches were lovely. Downstairs were a full living area and well equipped kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend this property for your stay in Limoux.
