Casa Orazio is a cozy and welcoming independent house situated a few minutes from the town center. It sleeps two people. From Casa Orazio you will enjoy a nice view of the sea and of Positano. Casa Orazio is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a small private terrace with a view of the sea and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from Positano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line and the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Positano line at 50 meters (165 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Casa Orazio from the street level going up approximately 80 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Orazio. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces). Terrace
The terrace is 8 square meters (86 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the living room through a French door. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a characteristic view of the sea and of Positano.

To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 55.00.Available for a fee, if desired:extra bed EUR 50.00/night;baby bed EUR 30.00. Living Room
The living room is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the corridor. The floor is paved with tiles. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a French bed (available upon request with an additional cost -- please contact our staff in advance). The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is 9 square meters (97 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the corridor. It is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine. The kitchen has a window that opens into the living room.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has two windows with a view of the sea and of Positano, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is tiled with lucid white majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

What an amazing experience with Davide. Communication with the booking agency was incredibly smooth. They were prompt in their replies and checked in frequently to ensure our process went smoothly. Unbelievable property. Clean, great view, and close to everything in Positano (if you are willing to go up and down many, many stairs). If you are staying in Positano, Davide is an excellent host with many helpful suggestions and stories from his history and the history of Positano.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment was as expected from the photos. The bedroom was comfortable and the living room was spacious for the 3 of us. Although it was quite a few steps to get to the beach, it was lovely and peaceful where we were and we actually preferred that.

OMG, I have nothing but great things to say about this apartment! Davide & Titina are the most wonderful/caring hosts we've ever had. Davide communicates fairly well in English and we enjoyed his tales of growing up in Positano, as well, watching him take such pride in his garden. We got to enjoy fresh tomatoes and basil from his garden and told us to help ourselves whenever we wanted.
If you have mobility issues, it might be a tad difficult for you to manage the 75 stairs leading up to the apt from the road. Davide, even at 87, insisted on carrying my carry-on suitcase up the stairs when we checked-in, he's such an inspiration to us all.
We loved sitting on the terrace and not only is the view spectacular, but it gets shade in the afternoon. When we got tired of the crowds down around the beach/pier, we would take the Interno Positano bus back up and sit on the terrace enjoying our lunch/dinner & cocktails.
The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals, only thing missing is a toaster. The bed is 2 singles put together and was very comfortable. There is a lot of closet and dresser space for your clothes. I guess the only negative thing I would mention is, the road below can be fairly noisy with scooters zipping around, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.
Again, this has to be one of the best places we've ever rented and Davide made it even more special.
I highly recommend renting this place if you don't mind being higher up in Positano.

We stayed 11 nights in Casa Orazio and enjoyed our home away from home in this incredibly beautiful town. We will never forget the amazing views, we spent so much time on the terrace. We cooked frequently, the kitchen was very functional. We would definitely return to Casa Orazio.
Davide and Titina were exceptionally welcoming and generous hosts, we have never experienced this level of hospitality in self catering accommodation before.
Booking with Summer In Italy was so easy and they provided comprehensive information for travelling to the accommodation and much more plus any other information you may need.
