I love that it’s quiet, and with only 2 rooms per floor, it’s nice and private. The furnishings are simple but I love the exposed wood - really nice rustic feel.
I find the hotel quite hot outside of the room - this does make it a bit uncomfortable when I had to walk up and down the stairs to get to the 4th floor. Since there’s no phone in the room that connects to the front desk, I needed to walk all the way downstairs to ask for something or ask a question - this was quite annoying. I also wish there were tea bags or something in the room to use. For the price, I think I expected a few more amenities.

We loved staying at Kyono Moto Yurinsha. The hostess was so lovely and looked after us. The breakfast was so delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Kyono Moto Yurinsha for your trip to Kyoto.

It is a beautiful quaint family run property, located in the centre of Kyoto. Nicol was super-host: respectful, caring. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
