Beck Cottage is a detached cottage in the hamlet of Pennington near Ulverston. The cottage has a king-size double bedroom upstairs, while downstairs is a bathroom, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is a patio to the front, and off road parking for two cars. Beck Cottage is within walking distance of a pub with micro-brewery, and just a few miles away are the amenities of Ulverston, with the lovely coast and stunning National Park easily reached.

Town: Situated on the beautiful Lake District Peninsula, the scattered hamlet of Pennington is set in an area of gentle hills and unspoiled countryside. The start of the Haematite and Cumbrian Way footpaths are close by, as are the twin pubs at Great Urswick Tarn - locally renowned for their fine ales and good food. Nearby Ulverston is an ancient market town, which still holds a streetmarket every Thursday and Saturday. Today, this settlement is best known as a "festival town", with events throughout the year, and as the birthplace of Stan Laurel. As a result, it is now home to the only Laurel and Hardy museum in the world. Facilities there include a wide range of shops, pubs, and restaurants whilst all of the attractions of the National Park are within easy reach. Also close by is the Furness Coast, boasting sandy beaches and good birdwatching. Other attractions include the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, the South Lakes Wild Animal Park and Muncaster Castle.
