We loved the old charm feel of the place and it was close to everything that we needed.

The restaurant opened a bit late for us for breakfast so we found a nice place now far away

I didn’t like the way the property has portrayed its’ accommodation and facilities in the images used on this platform. The hotel, while upon first glance, may appear to be cast by Wes Anderson - trade crisp mountain air for Bangkok riverside haze - sadly missing the aesthetic mark. The grandeur of the 1990’s have long surged downstream, leaving behind creaky hallways and rattling panels of glass in wooden window frames. I actually regret not having visited sooner. Speaking purely from a professional perspective, that is, photographing the inside and outside of hotels and villas in Greece and elsewhere in a Europe: very well edited images, that camouflage, or omit the less-than-perfect areas of the premises, and almost deceptively over-expose the poorly and unevenly-lit room(s). The proximity to the adjacent canal/river-runoff could irritate some; I was more concerned about the plumbing. 🪠.
