The property was super clean and was in such a great location! The staff were amazing, really lovely and provided everything we needed. They answered any questions we had about the area and helped us with the rest of our route in Sri Lanka :) Breakfast was very nice too and they even made me a Sri Lankan breakfast one morning as I told them I’d never tried it.

It’s a family run business and things are done with care. If you want your money to go to a local, hardworking family, this is your place. The owner is extremely sweet and accommodated all our requests. She even made tea for me when I was sick due to a cold. She cooked for us delicious breakfast and dinner every day.

Nothing. Don’t expect 5 star European style luxury hotels, but the rooms are clean and if there is something wrong they will fix it immediately.

Dilrukshi was a fantastic host! The location is amazing, outside of the busy centre but still at walking distance from the station and centre.

The owner is very nice and welcoming. They even served us breakfast after the usual breakfast hours, which we really appreciated. We loved the location because it is a little outside the busy party centre, so it is much quieter. However, keep in mind that the accommodation is located uphill and requires quite a bit of walking and climbing. It can also be a little difficult to find at first, so it might not be the best choice for older guests or anyone who has trouble walking uphill or climbing stairs. The accommodation itself is basic, as is the breakfast, but it has everything you need for a short stay. Overall, good value for the price, especially if you prefer staying somewhere quieter and don’t mind the climb

The only downside was that the listing mentions a mountain view, but in reality there really isn’t one. The property is located a bit higher up, but you still can’t actually see the mountains, so we found that description slightly misleading.
