Location is perfect , Lovely Hosts Comfy Bed Great shower Amazing Breakfast

The breakfast options were ex cellent and the ingtreients were local and high quality. Ecerything about the property was perfect for a stay in the area.

My only reservation was that my room was accessed by two flights of stairs which I found a little difficult with luggage. Also there was no expectation in the furnishing of the room that guests might want a workspace. Both of these are quite reasonable to expect given the location and likely kind of traveller that Heriot's caters for.

The location was great, rooms very clean, lovely hearty breakfast with lots of choice. The hosts were friendly, lovely people.

Can’t fault anything.

Having told the owner we had driven for 6 hours and had to drive 7 the next day to attend a (late finishing) wedding nearby requested a slightly later breakfast outside the 45 minute window that ended at 9. However we called at 9.10 to see if we could still get breakfast and were answered with a flat no, even though no one else was in the B&B and those that had been had had their breakfast. Thought a bit of flexibility would have worked, having paid for breakfast. Left to drive home to Brighton having not eaten with all local places not serving food until midday.
