6 Bedroom Ultimate Family Retreat

This property is in a beautiful quiet location 15 minutes from the center of Ithaca. The common areas of the house are very spacious, easily accommodating a full house. The bedrooms are comfortable and nicely grouped into different areas so even with a full house everyone has there own part of the house to retire too.The kitchen is very well equipped with an industrial strength range.For me the best part was being able to sit out on the porch and enjoy the countryside which comes right up to the door.Our hosts were first class. Communication was great and they really cared that we had a good time.I highly recommend this property.

Can't say enough praises for our stay at Tenwood, we feel like we've found our spot for family gatherings. The attention to detail and welcoming nature of Kim and Russ are exceptional. We had an amazing Fourth of July picnic outside and the kids had a blast running around and playing in the yard. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen, meal preparation was a breeze. We had plenty of room for family meals and game time around the huge table. Comfy beds kept us well rested. We feel blessed to have found Tenwood and look forward to returning.

The property owner is really engaged and shares great advice about what to do around. They provide ample space for large groups and are a phone call away if you need them for whatever reason. The property is clean and really well laid out to be that big. I would recommend a stay for large groups. We were a party of eight and felt it would have taken more. A great stay.

Kim and Russ are wonderful hosts: accommodating their beautiful home for family gatherings. It’s family friendly, spacious, quiet and so clean! Our only disappointment was the weather was cool enough that we were unable to use the outdoor space in the evenings. Ithaca traffic is always a challenge no matter which direction you’re coming from, so know to give yourself enough time to get into town and/or campus. We used Tenwood as home base for a gorgeous wedding at Quinta Rosa bringing family and friends together from across the U.S. Groceries were in the frig to help us with a late arrival. Doesn’t get much better than that. Thanks again Kim and Russ!
