Awesome scenery! Although summertime would be an ideal time to invest in some curtains. With no A/C and the sun setting around 3, the top floor of the house gets extremely warm. The house had a funky, old musty smell. Possible urine from pets or the rats in the walls. We could hear an infestation in the walls by the bathroom/kitchen upstairs. Not very pleasent. The host said the hot tub worked but we could never get it warmed up. But all in all we enjoyed our stay, for the most part

Pros: It was perfect for our party of 15. The house was clean, comfy, spacious and close to stores. Wonderful location. Garage was perfect for our van. Heater worked. Gorgeous windows and views throughout the day. Plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for all. Pool table kept kids having fun. The puzzle was fun. Lots of outlets, although many were loose. Cons: The dishwasher was not working so that was a hassle, considering there were 15 of us. The bathroom door upstairs needed fixing as well as the sliding doors leading to the outside. The jacuzzi didn’t work on our second day ( I suggest better instructions & labels) so we weren’t able to used it. A gentlemen came on our third day and turns out it just needed more water, so we missed out on a day of jacuzzi time. The oven wouldn’t close properly so it had to be rigged with a chair so it would close all the way. More forks were needed. Most of the lamps had no switches so we couldn’t use them unless we plugged them in & out. Labels on the light switches would be helpful as there are a lot. The shower head in the hallway bathroom didn’t work very well. Overall it was a great stay and a great experience.

The house was immaculate, beautiful, cozy, and family friendly. Can I just say....THE VIEW!!!!

The location of the property is good, and the design is good for a family gathering. The property has deferred maintenance with exterior wood railings needing attention. The HVAC is not really adequate and as our stay was in the summer - the upstairs remained hot. Main concern, however, is that there was evidence of a mice and rodent infestation. The pantry had mouse droppings, one of the kitchen cupboards had food or pet food left in it and it was full of mouse dropping. The mice had invaded the lower oven and there were mouse dropping in the lower unit which prevented us from using the oven.
