The house was even better than expected. Country feel but close to the beach. Pool was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Beth kept things simple and easy.

We had a great time the pool was a plus with the grandkids , house was very roomy! Will book again! Host was so awesome!

Host was very attentive & replaced a broken television during our stay. Property was clean and comfortable. We hope to return for a future vacation.

We’ve been coming to this house every summer for years. It’s always been a great experience. You’re a short drive (maybe 4 minutes) to Holden Beach but you also get the serenity of a farm with pastures and horses grazing in the distance. It’s a very calm environment and perfect for a family. Having said that, this year was a bit different. The house was not ready at check in time. We had to wait another 45 minutes, at least, to check in. This caused frustration after a long drive (with children). I would also add that having to make our own beds seemed a bit off. There were clean sheets but only folded at the foot of each bed. The only other frustrations I can think of are that the trash can was full and not put out for pick up. This is not the fault of the property owner, but was an added frustration. And finally, there was a comforter on a bed that had what appeared to be bodily fluids and a discarded feminine hygiene product with it. This was missed by the cleaning crew. I know this all sounds bad, but the house itself has its charms. This was the one questionable experience we’ve had at this house after coming for years. I will say that the owner was out of town and trusting subcontractors to get things done. We will consider going back.
