HOSTEL EMI

Staying at hostel Emi feels like staying with a family. Yes, it is a hostel - not five star hotel, but you get here all what a traveler may need: comfortable bed, strong shower, good WiFi, etc. The location is excellent: right in the center of “wine town” Kavadarci. But the greatest “asset” of this place is genuine hospitality of the owners: Jadranka and her husband. Besides hostel, the run a beauty salon, and a small winery. While beauty salon services are reserved exclusively for women, I was instantly offered a very generous portion of their delicious wine. Long story short: if you visit Kavadarci, don’t look any further. Hostel Emi is an excellent place to spend a few days.

I really liked that I had my own space, the location being by the park and the river, and how nice the owners were!

I would say that it’s a little pricey for one night and being an off season. I could see that price when it’s during an event or a more trafficked time.

The staff is amazing! The room was comfortable and clean. It's very close to the center and so quiet and peaceful so you can have a good night sleep. We'll definitely visit again! Thank you for the hospitality :)

Central location. WiFi available.

It's not an apartment, it's an old bar with now some beds in it. Even though it has 2 spaces, they made only the beds in the communal area where the bar also is located (the only heated area), so we could only use that small cramped space. Everything was incredibly old and damaged, and dusty/sticky. The shower has no shower curtain, so the whole bathroom gets wet. The metal frame in the mattress stings right into your body. A camera was hanging up in the area where we were sleeping... probably (hopefully) turned off, but very strange anyway. We were asked to pay extra for city taxes, even though Booking.com mentioned those to be much cheaper (he said it was specified wrong on booking.com - well, then change it). Had to engage in an awkward discussion regarding this, not what you want after a long journey. We stayed longer in Kavadarci, but elsewhere. .
