Except that we found out our dear Alan no longer was there to great us, my kids look forward to coming to Destin to see their beach buddy very very disappointed he was not there. The other thing is the elevator not in service, and some staff not very friendly. Other than that everything was good. I do have suggestions plz new mattress for twin beds pay high price to rent not to have good mattresses. Plz bring our beach buddy back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time at The Islander. We love it there. The one thing I would change/complain about is the linen situation. There should be more towels and wash cloths available for renters. I should not have to worry about making it to linen exchange 2 days a week or have to wash linens when I’m paying a great deal of money to rent a condo. The linen situation needs to be reevaluated.
