Finding the property was easy but the driveway is very narrow and challenging when you back your vehicle up. The check-in process was good but we did initially struggle getting the door lock to function properly. The property was prepped for our arrival with the thermostat set at 70. Downstairs stays very cool (we were there for the 4th of July weekend) but upstairs was very warm due to a window in the stairwell facing the western sky. As a remedy, the Hosts provided a portable air conditioner to help bring the temperature down. It was placed in the bedroom so we kept the doors closed to help it be more efficient. Come bedtime, the room temperature was very comfortable along with a ceiling fan. I will warn you that the portable air conditioner is rather noisy and may disrupt light sleepers as we left it running during the night.The property was tastefully decorated. The Host has plants and flowers throughout the property. My wife loved it! The backyard was nice and serene. There is a fire pit but considering the outside temperature was 90, we didn’t need a fire. They do provide a hot tub and gas grill.Roku TV is provided but I streamed videos on my iPad. Internet speed was adequate.The kitchen was adequately equipped but there is no stove or oven but there is a hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. A mini fridge and freezer is also provided.Bathrooms were clean. Very roomy MBR with a King-size bed with a firm mattress.

Accommodations were great. Hosts are efficient and available if needed. The house is spacious and very well maintained. Property is in a great location and neighborhood with easy access to trailhead with access to Garden of the Gods state park. Historic Manitou Springs is slightly north with great dining, wine bars and old town Colorado charm. Second time staying here in past year. When back in Colorado Springs, we will stay here again.

This was the best place to stay in Colorado Springs. We loved walking straight into garden of the gods at the end of the road. So nice to take a little stroll in the mornings. Also very easy access to the old city and 15 min from downtown. The place itself was clean, spacious, and felt like home. The jets in the hot tub were particularly good! The only note I’d make for people to be aware of is that there isn’t a traditional oven/stove in the kitchen. They have a hot plate and a nice counter toaster oven. It’s completely workable if you are aware! We were glad we stopped by the rental before going to the grocery store so we didn’t make the mistake of buying a pizza for an oven!
