Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and a parking permit is provided for on road parking. Excellent restaurants and a variety of pubs are within easy walking distance, and Eden Court Theatre offers a wide and diverse programme of music, drama and cinema. The leisure centre, swimming pool and tennis courts are popular and adjacent to the scenic island district of Inverness.
Inverness makes a superb base for sampling many attractions in the Highlands. Good walking, golf courses, bike trails, Nairn beach, the delights of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal are within easy reach. Ullapool is around an hour’s drive away and the Isle of Skye is about 2 hours away by car, and slightly longer by train. The historically important Culloden battlefield, Cawdor Castle and Fort George are sights worth seeing, and the distilleries on the Whisky Trail make visitors welcome. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Fabulous cottage, a real home from home.Bottle of bubbly for Christmas together with coffee, tea and milk was a real treat.Spotless clean and all the accessories you could ever want.The only issue I had was with a potato masher from toys-r-us, but I muddled through!I real gem that I would highly recommend.

It was an excellent property! It felt very comfy and it was just beautiful. The location was amazing and everything was walkable. Really had a great experience here!

The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. One minor negative is that there is a little bit of street noise from pedestrians on their way out of the city center after the bars closing. Usually happens after midnight and into the wee hours. Lots of loud voices and sometimes singing and yelling. Again, not a huge issue for us, but be aware. We like to sleep with the window open, so maybe more obvious to us. We'll definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic property! Conveniently located, well furnished, clean! We did have an older family member with us and didn’t realize there were a lot of stairs to climb to reach the bedrooms. Could be an issue for some. Overall, great stay!!!
