Glory Be was an amazing home on the water. The views from the house and wrap around deck were stunning. The house is full of special little things you may have seen years ago. They add a very special touch. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.The kitchen has everything you could imagine needing to cook up a great meal or bake your favorite dessert. The location cannot be beat and direct access to the water was the cream on top. Watching the tides change and the beach expand was truly a luxury. The wildlife and birds are happy to sing and visit with you. It's remote enough without feeing too far away from shops and restaurants. Dee is a wonderful host and is always available. We will defiantly go back.

We absolutely loved this property! My Mom and I came here to see fall colors and eat lobster, top of her bucket list! I’m so glad we did and that we chose this property. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. was very spacious outside, lots of room for our pups to run and play, we loved the well equipped kitchen, and spacious living room with drop dead views. We woke up to beautiful sunrises every morning, and the fall foliage was at its peak. Just gorgeous! It was very refreshing to be able to open the sliding glass doors and just have the screen closed to get fresh air flow through the house. No AC required! We don’t miss not having a tv at all, in fact, it was really nice! Who needs it when you have so much to do and see here! The pathway and stairs down to the rock beach was so nice, and the views just amazing. we went down every day and explored the beautiful rocks and coastline, which our pups enjoyed also! We enjoyed the fireplace very night we were there. My Mom and I both slept so good! The beds were very comfortable, and showers had good water pressure. Everything was nice and clean! I can’t wait to come back!!

This is a beautiful home overlooking serene waters. Communication with the host was impeccable. The kitchen and house amenities were fantastic, with everything we needed. We loved the home decor and the amazing views from the picture windows.The location was pristine, with nearby access to a wide variety of activities. We tried many of Dee’s suggestions, from restaurants to activities, and all were a great hit with my family! It was an easy day trip to Acadia National Park, and our location was far enough away from the congestion of the popular tourist area that we could get back home and enjoy the peace and quiet! Thank you for helping us have an amazing vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Newbury Neck Road. Unfortunately we hit a rainy spell in June during our stay and we had our dog with us and the ticks were rampant. Be prepared if you bring your pet. The overall house is dated and the furniture needs refreshing but the fireplace is fabulous -not something you think you are going use in June but we were able to take advantage of it most nights. Dee, the property manager is very responsive and a wealth of local information - the location and Dee is why we gave it a rating of 3 stars otherwise it would have been lower.
