The lodge was great for our extended family. Plenty of rooms to fit everyone and plenty of seating. The host was very responsive. Beautiful views of the lake and outdoor seating too.

Stupendous space, inside and out. Kitchen equipped for a large group (we had 12) cooking and cleanup’crews together. Stove, sink dishwasher, top notch. Stargazing, superb. ‘Rustic Elegance’ was perfect for us!

The property was beautiful and the host was nice and amazingly attentive. The cabin was extremely hot during the day and had fans blowing all over the cabin and in every room, and the window wouldn’t open upstairs in one of the lofts. There were problems with the WiFi connection that the host worked to remedy. The water in the kitchen smelled horrible and it took a full day of running before it subsided. There was not enough hot water for showers for the 12 of us. Literally four people got warm showers in the evening. I understand it is a cabin, but the cobwebs on the windows were excessive and we felt they could have been cleaned away prior to arrival. The shower in the loft didn’t work and one of the showers and separate toilet stall were located in the laundry/mud room and they were unacceptable and too rustic to use. Also, kids under 17 weren’t allowed in the lofts without an adult. The loft rules and bathroom information are things that should be clear in the description before booking. Otherwise, as mentioned in the beginning, the property grounds were beautiful and relaxing.
