This was our fourth trip to Dawson Lake and we are already looking forward to our next visit. We enjoyed hiking, swimming, fishing, and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. It's the perfect place for a secluded vacation.

Great stay, beautiful lake settingThe lake and lake house were the highlight of our trip — having a full kitchen down there made it so easy to spend the whole day by the water without having to head back up to the main house. The property itself is stunning and the grounds are incredible.The main house could use a few updates/upgrades here and there, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Between the lake, the trails, and the peaceful setting, we had a wonderful time and would consider staying again.

This property was truly amazing. We enjoyed the lake and fishing. The house is very clean and kitchen well stocked. You are a short drive from NRG Nat'l park, we enjoyed hiking trails in the park and daily walks on the property. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be back. We have stayed in several great short term rentals, but this really takes it to another level. Beautiful area, amazing lake and pool, great fishing, everything perfect. The house itself is great. We had 6 adults, 9 and 2 year old kids. Plenty of space. Great firepit for our evening fires. Cooked dinners each nice. Great space! Pool/ Lake / Pool House Often times the pictures are better than what you actually find upon arrival. Not the case here. The infinity Pool is beautiful! This was our main spot each day. Hottub was perfect as well. Full kitchen at the pool was awesome for food and snack each day. The lake is fantastic! Beautiful! Nice canoe and kayaks that we took out each day. However the fishing was the best we have ever seen. Over 250 Bass over the course of our week!!! Unbelievable!!! It was awesome!! We ventured into Lewisburg a couple of times which is about 20ish minutes. It has everything you need. Greenbrier trail is awesome for a run or bike ride. We also went the other direction to the new river gorge in about 50 minutes. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from everything and enjoy the beautiful land and facilities. We hope to return in the future.
