Fijne kamer; heerlijk ontbijt; rustig hotel

Marie Siska is gelegen in het ‘Zoute’, zeer mooie liggen maar wel eventjes stappen naar het centrum. Maar langs de mooie villa’s wandelen is natuurlijk niet zo erg :) Het ontbijt was goed! Je kan kiezen tussen verschillende soorten eitjes en versgeperst fruitsap was ook aanwezig. De parking is zeer ruim en is gratis 🤗 PLUSPUNT: mijn vriend was jarig en het hotel had de kamer versierd met ballonnen en een leuk kaartje. Wij komen zeker terug!!

The rooms were good, quiet and comfortable so it's a shame that the hotel is employing staff that can destroy a pleasant experience with a poor attitude.

The breakfast was included in the price, but we were unable to enjoy it due to timing. We were rather rudely told by the reception staff that because this is a "family" hotel, breakfast could not be served before 8:30, at the time we had to leave. We could have least been told that a coffee machine and some biscuits were available in the room, and our expectation for a four star hotel was that the staff could have made an effort to provide some pastries to the room at an earlier time. At any rate, I noticed on our departure at 8:30 that the food offered in the restaurant was very basic. I should also add that the lady managing our checkout was much more pleasant and friendly so I would not generalize. Yet another incident with the same staff person occurred because he did not bother explaining clearly how the code system worked to enter the hotel with the room badge (after entering the code you have to press a nearly invisible "key" button). I checked TripAdvisor's comments after we left and we found that we were not the first persons to have noticed the staff problem.
