Affordable and Convenient - the Mountainside Inn is walking distance to historic downtown Telluride and just 200 yards from the Coonskin Ski Lift (#7).

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*
The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.
This hotel room has two twins (extra-long) that can be made into a king bed, and a fold-out daybed, suitable for a single person. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, mini-fridge, small microwave, fan and humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and hairdryer.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.
This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

The stay was very nice. My only complaint was the late check in (4pm), although I arrived early and my room was ready, so they let me check in.

The room was clean and had good service. Staff were helpful and polite.

The location on the river is perfect and it is close to town! The room itself was quite disappointing... "artwork" with "prints" scotch taped on the borders placed randomly about the room, the fridge and coffee maker worked but was not conveniently set up, in general, the room was tacky by mountain town and vrbo standards.
Roof work was being done and something fell on the roof of our rental car denting it. The manager was somewhat helpful but the area should have been roped off to begin with.
All in all, our stay was ok. Would perhaps go back if the price was right and we had a nicer room.
