Core Amalfitano City Suites

I don't know where to start. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is absolutely incredible. In fact in my over 40 years of traveling for work and pleasure they're the best staff I've ever encountered. The location is close to everything which makes getting around the town and coast more enjoyable.

Loved everything.

The staff of the hotel is excellent—very responsive, super helpful, and courteous. The rooms are big, with plenty of space to spread out and stretch. There is an outdoor patio which is great on a sunny day, and the breakfast restaurant is nearby, offering good selection of breakfast. The hotel is close to the city center and ferry terminal, taxi stand, and bus stops. Very convenient!!

The only negative is the entrance to the hotel, which is right on a busy street, and every time we needed to go anywhere, we need to dodge cars, scooters, and buses. Not recommended for children or people with difficulty walking. There are small sets of stairs everywhere, so TRAVEL LIGHT!! Other than the access in and out of the hotel, everything is great about this hotel.

The room was great. It was very spacious . It was close to the port and looked out on the port area and all its comings and goings. We were there when amalfi had a great fireworks display.

We didn’t like how the hotel didn’t respond to us when they had said they would allow us to bring our bags early while we went on a boat trip. They did come in the end bit it may have caused us to miss our trip which thankfully in some ways was running late and also not communicating with us. The entrance to the hotel was hard to find and in a dangerous place with traffic passing close to the doorway. The short check in time scared us as if you didn’t check in by 6pm it would count as a no show thankfully we made it back in time. Staff didn’t want to hold our bags on last day while we went sight seeing which was stressful and could have ruined it for us but thankfully changed their mind and helped us
