Ca'Vour

The room allocated was of good standard and offered everything you would need, good shower with cleaning product, tea and coffee, fridge, lockable safe, breakfast was but a simple Italian breakfast of a hot drink and pastry, but this is by no means an unhappy occasion, we drink tea and this was the first time on this Italian Adventure we have been offered a tea pot which was perfect as the tea pot offered two cups of tea, each (per pot) Chiara was very pleasant and helpful. If we were in La Spezia in the future we would definitely look up this property.

There is nothing we didn't like, we were well informed of the amount of stairs, which were easy to climb, I have a dodgy knee, but found the stairs OK. The room was spacious also comfortable. No complaints.I have never been so positive about a review, however there is nothing the we didn't like

The room and bathroom was spacious, there was a nice balcony, and they gave us coupons for the cafe across the street.

it says checkin is from 10:00 onwards but our room wasn't ready til 12. However, they let us leave our bags there.

Great location, clean tidy room, great roomy shower and soaps, comfortable bed, good that it included breakfast vouchers.

Being woken up each morning by extremely noisy house keeper and guests. Not having the option to not have our room made up if we weren’t there (the do not disturb button only works when the card is in the room). An iron would also have been great.

You are only given one room key. A room key is required to turn on the lights and most importantly, the air conditioner. So when you leave for the day, the air conditioner goes off and you return to a very hot room. It took hours for the room to cool off during a heat wave. It is very misleading to say this room has air conditioning. Don’t stay here during any warm season unless you’re ok returning to a 34+ degree room. Also, there is a very large staircase you have to traverse with luggage. Beds were like sleeping on a rock. This is more of a Airbnb-type apartment than a hotel.
