Hotel Heimatlodge

Hotel is in a great location for what I needed - right near the St Niklaus train station and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable and the room had everything I needed. I would probably have preferred that there was someone at a reception desk - the hotel is all self check-in. But the self-check-in worked fine. And when I needed help with a bag being dropped off, the sister hotel stepped up and offered to receive and hold the bag for me. Very helpful. The breakfast also was very good.

The hotel is in a modern building and doesn’t have the charming feel of other “typical” Swiss accommodation. But, outside of that, the hotel was great.

Great little hotel in a quiet village.

The self check is was less than optimal.

Excellent location and very comfortable, clean room. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is very modern and sparkling clean. We loved the huge windows and the good quality sheets. We checked in at the hotel kiosk instead of email, and it worked great.

Good location

No staff at check in and we had issues with our room we would have like resolved. They have a phone number to call but we didn’t have ability to make local calls from our cell phone. No house phone.
