Rest Up Kathmandu Hostel

So it is a hostel but they have private rooms as well and I don’t regret I took one. My room was super clean and spacious too. The bathroom the same. And a good shower with lots of hot water oh my god. Great toilet too :) They have a good rooftop restaurant where you can chill and eat and drink lots of nice things. And every employee is so sweet. And last but not least. I did a trekking for 12 days. Gokyo lake. Amazingly beautiful. Prakash, who manages Rest up, helped me arranging everything for this trekking. I appreciate his personal and thoughtful care for my needs. Thank you Prakash. I had a wonderful time staying at Rest up and on the mountain.

Great hostel, friendly staff, the owner helps out with anything (including tours/hikes) ... been here many times, always great vibes on the rooftop, good food, clean rooms :)

The room i was given was not what i booked. The management put me in their neighbouring hotel next door called Thamel boutique hotel. This room was good however the noise was terrible. Sounded like there was a water pump on the other side of the wall from my bed. It was turning on and off all day and night. I lost a lot of sleep!
