Casa Creativa Lagos

Location was excellent and the property was nice. Price for the 4 nights we stayed there was reasonable but the pictures on the site made the rooms look much larger than they actually were. This would not have been an issue if we had smaller luggage and were there for a weekend trip or if I were traveling with a spouse or friend and not my father. This place is great for young people staying for a few nights. It is close to bars and restaurants and shops. It’s a bit noisy earlier in the evening but it does get quiet and stay quiet a little later in the evening. We even slept with our window open to get the fresh breeze in the room.

Wish there was a second set of room keys provided.

The room was clean, the location is very central to explore Lagos.

There wasn’t enough bath towels provided even after requesting. The host gave some environment spiel when in reality it’s a cleanliness issue. Considering the showers have no doors, the bath mats get wet very easily even after pointing the shower at the wall. This made using the bathroom very messy especially when you return everyday after walking in hot sun.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely return if staying in Lagos again. It was perfectly located for us, a short walk to the beaches and marina and in a lovely part of the old town. There was a brilliant bakery near the entrance, and lots of lovely restaurants and bars around. There was a great buzz. The room was very comfortable and cleaned regularly, we appreciated the touches like the beach towels and the book of recommendations. There's also a lovely communal area which had books, games, water etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

The place looks nice. Simple but nicely decorated.

It's so noisy that sleep is impossible. I asked for a change of rooms. The customer service let me know that they were fully booked. Ok i get that. What i did not get was her saying 'if you wanred peace you should have stayed in the countryside'. Unkind, unessesary and inappropriate.
