The location was terrific, with easy access to the beach and free trolley service into town. The home was well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find an outdoor closest with beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys, and wagon!

The process was flawless; the property was just ok. The “host”, SeaBreeze Vacations, are excellent. They communicate with phone every step of the way, from booking to check out. Check-in and check out was seamless (and all digital). While very clean and just across the street from the beach, the property itself was not without challenges. First, it is clearly an older property, which is evident in areas of peeling paint and the fact that the AC clearly can’t handle the upstairs (the master bedroom gets HOT, even with the drapes closed all day). Also, we had two good scares when my 9 year old gripped the glass plate “banister” and it almost gave way. And again, when I casually leaned against the banister on the first floor balcony and felt it move like it was about to break off. Additionally, this is the least stocked “well-stocked” rental I’ve ever stayed in. Just be aware that the kitchen has all the pots you need, but they drew the line at basic salt & pepper. It has plenty of toilet paper, but not a single Kleenex. (To be fair, this probably mattered more to me because I came down with a cold). Lastly, the oven is a smartThings and DOES NOT WORK without an app. Super frustrating when you’re trying to make breakfast for kids at 8am. Unless you’re willing to download and set up a whole app that you’ll never use again, don’t plan on baking anything. These are not deal-breaking issues; just enough that it’s not a property I would book again if others are available.
