South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
The Crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfer visit Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf-skis, pushbikes, diving equipment, or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol,Smoky Cape lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

This was a perfect spot for a getaway. Close to the beach, shopping and pub. Could be a little noisy on weekends/school holidays as van park is right in front.

Even though quite aged fabulous position and excellent value for money. Oven and shower needs a thorough clean and a sorting out of cupboards in kitchen

We stayed here a week and were really comfortable in this modern well appointed 2 bedroom apartment, which has a huge deck equipped with lounge chairs and a table for dining, as well as a BBQ. Only trouble is that the neighbours either side wanted to party on their deck, so it got very noisy on a couple of nights..and boisterous kids were running up and down.
It is a few minutes walk to everywhere - the beach, cafes, banks, grog shop, supermarket - so park your car and relax. It was clean when we arrived, with new doonas, but you need to supply your own linen. Highly recommended.

The unit wasn't as clean as we would have expected. The lounge obviously hadn't been vaccuumed as it still had crumbs etc on it when we walked in and the verandah hadn't been cleaned either there were marks on the glass railing and the floor was dirty.
