Run by family who seem to take great pride and care in their establishment. The facility is clean and well cared for.
There are no stores in Hontanas and there are no vending machines in the facility. You are at the mercy of the property for food and drink. If vegetarian, food is limited to tortilla.
While the facility has clean floors, I did feel itchy and couldn’t sleep and then had several bed bug bites appear within 24 hrs of staying. I can’t confirm if it was this location.

The staff worked really hard for their clients. They went out of their way to provide us supper when we needed it. The rooms were comfy and the toilets/shower were spotless.

Good location. Right on the Camino route
Unfriendly staff. I was the only woman in a dormitory with men!! Don’t understand why they do that. There is nowhere to sit except for the bar. There is an outside terrace but it gets cold out there and I couldn’t get Wi-fi signal
