Cosy little cottage , all amenities and a large hot tub . Dog friendly too ! Hosts very friendly and helpful .Surrounding areas very good for walking ,and some beautiful scenery .Would definately go back again !!

Perfect location, could do with better kitchen utensils, tin opener and another frying pan however we did enjoy our stay here and would use The Arches again

Lovely cottage in wonderful peaceful surroundings. The cottage is well equipped, the hot tub an excellent addition and works perfectly. Ideal for dog owners as the back garden very secure. The cottage could do with a few updates and finishing touches but did not affect our stay in the slightest. Nice local walks and amenities about 10 minutes drive away. Lots of other places to visit within half an hour such as Loch lomond and the ferries to the islands. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic week away at Little Arches. After reading recent bad reviews, we did have some doubts. However, we phoned the owner Mary directly to ask some questions regarding the hot tub and she was more than helpful! The hot tub was in perfect working order during our stay. Yes, the lights on the hot tub weren’t working as mentioned in another review. However, there are outside lights on the cottage and these were more than enough light to enjoy the hot tub at night time. In terms of cleanliness, we found the cottage to be absolutely spotless! Yes there are some little areas that require some updating and renewing but it did not affect the quality of our stay at all! The location of this cottage is absolutely perfect. All week we enjoyed our long walks around the Castle Semple Loch. On our last day we bumped into a neighbouring farm owner who told us about the Reservoir up the road near their farm. I wish we’d known about this as when we drove up the road further to see this it was a beautiful walk with lovely views! A definite must to visit, especially with a dog. Would 100% stay here again.
