I stayed in the attic room and loved it! Huge skylights to watch the dawn and the sunset. Clean, and cosy, with a small private area with a comfortable chair on the top landing. Kitchen facilities were good. Place was very clean.
Host’s son was very helpful - carried my case up stairs and offered to do same in departure.
SPAR grocery down the street.
A lot of stairs… I mean a LOT. … especially if you opt for the ‘room with a view’ (across the rooftops) Narrow winding stairwell. Note that property is on a steep road…

We had a lovely stay! The room was nice and clean, and the ground floor kitchen and washing machine were well equipped.
It’s in a pretty good location too - about a 5min walk to Rossio Square or Martim Moniz square, albeit down a pretty steep hill. There’s lots of little shops around too.
The host provided lots of information too and recommendations which was appreciated.
The shower is a little on the small side and the toilet is a bit awkward, but this didn’t really bother us much and we were happy to have the private bathroom.

The apartment was small but clean.
The area where the apartment is seems very shady. Would not recommend to walk at night alone.
