We enjoyed our time up north. The house was adequate for six adults. Having the garage to secure the side-by-side at Night was a bonus.

The overall experience was good. However, one thing we found a bit unusual compared to other places we have stayed was the 10:00 AM checkout time, as most others are 11:00 AM. It was also a bit uncomfortable that someone was standing outside the door a few minutes before checkout time asking us if we are done.

House was clean. Host was friendly. Had a great week !

Make sure to cover yourself if you stay at this property! Leave with proof of the condition of the home or you might get threatened with damage and cleaning charges. The property was fine, a great area and close to the lake. Everything was wonderful until we checked out and got a message from the owners that there were issues with the house as far as cleaning and issues with bedding. I was accused of not leaving the house clean and ruining a couple sets of sheets and warned that they would be filing a claim. I requested proof of these claims and after many messages back and forth I was sent 2 pictures that supposedly showed an "unknown substance" on the sheets. They withdrew their attempt to charge additional fees when I mentioned that I had video proof. The whole ridiculous exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure what they were angling for but my recommendation is to cover your tracks if you rent this home! They turned a fabulous family vacation into a very stressful end for no apparent reason. I have been a customer of VRBO for many years with no previous negative comments.
