The Oriental Jade Hotel

Although the delay of our flight by 7 hours meant we only had 4 hours with Jade, staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome including the welcome drink, the storage of luggage, delicious breakfast, a small gift, orientation of the surroundings and a complimentary transfer to the start of our tour. The genuine customer service was much appreciated.

Would have liked to have stayed longer but will certainly do so the next time we are in Hanoi.

I had a very comfortable stay at The Oriental Jade Hotel. I’ve stayed in suites at quite a few hotels, and among the hotels I’ve experienced in Hanoi, this was easily one of the best. The overall quality of the stay felt consistently high. I also really enjoyed the food. The selection wasn’t huge, but I actually preferred it that way because the quality was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and each dish felt carefully prepared rather than simply being part of a large buffet. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care that seemed to go into every dish.

We stayed three nights and the hotel was fantastic in every way - service, cleanliness, and location. Every question and request was handled quickly and with a smile. The hotel stored our suitcase while we traveled for a few days, and on our flight day they let us use a shower in the afternoon before leaving for the airport. Both were arranged without any hassle. Highly recommended.

The only thing that really bothered us was noise from a festival near the lake. This was outside the hotel's control.

Staff great very kind. Beds super comfortable. Provided gluten free food.
