Great location

Fantastic location and view! Had lots of fun playing pool with my family.

Our family with two young kids had a great time here. The place was clean, kitchen was well equipped for at-home meals, the rooms and beds were cozy, the hot tub and grill were well-maintained and worked well for us. We connected our own devices to the screens when necessary for shows, though cable was available. Easy access to Blowing Rock or Boone. It was the hottest week of the year so far, but in this area it was 10-15 degrees cooler. I biked down the mountain to the parkway every day for a good ride. And as the picture indicates, the view from the house is spectacular. Would love to stay again in fall or winter as well.

Upon checking into home and checking for cleanliness (grade A)- noticed right away wooden front door had major gap top left and many cracks as light was coming through! One can see that a storm door was present at one time! Then noticed HVAC return vent cover (entry way) was COVERED with dust- upon further investigation, determined there was NO FILTER!!! Called office, maintenance arrived, located filter in a closet downstairs! and also determined the downstairs UNIT WAS MISSING A FILTER ALSO! Needless to say- inside unit was disgustingly nasty and from a health stand-very concerning! Had to unload dishes from dishwasher😖, food debris in sink and no ice maker☹️
