Had a quiet and comfortable night’s stay at the Carlton. Lovely twin room with lots of space and light. Great view over the rooftops of Forres. Friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast.
The shower in the shared bathroom on the 3rd floor is out of action so had to go downstairs for a shower in the morning.

Carlton Hotel is a lovely historic hotel in the middle of Forres with a cosy little bar on the main floor and a huge breakfast room on the second floor. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, the pub is a nice place to decompress on arrival, and the staircase is a nice historic element in the hotel!
The shower on the upper floor was not available for use, but an alternative shower was provided so that was not a big problem. Otherwise we have no complaints. It was a lovely stay as we drove around the coast on our way from Oban to Aberdeen.

Comfy Beds, clean, warm pleasant room. Tea/Coffee & Biscuits in room. Vouchers for a free drink at the bar. Toiletries supplied. It was a Friday night, so bar was lively - no problem for us, we enjoyed a game of pool.
Old buildng with character, may not suit everyone.

It accommodates pets, staff were friendly and helpful. Good parking around and near Hotel
Shower not working. Had to share bathroom with another room. Four flight of stairs would have been a challenge for some, we managed being youthful 71 and 76 year olds lol
