Lost Paradise Gili

We had a fabulous week at Lost Paradise with our kids. The pool was large with a deep end, there was space to chill out in the communal area and we really enjoyed the Indonesia architecture/vibe. The cocktails in the adjoining General Lee's bar were outstanding; really high quality - not the watered down versions you sometimes find at a holiday resort - and ordering them at 2for1 to drink by the pool during happy hour was great value. The kids enjoyed playing pool, jenga and the fact that the swimming pool was open all hours so they could swim after dark.

The rooms, pool and common areas are beautiful, well-maintained and clean. It is run by a young team (Rhion, Rizal and Enjel) that clearly know what they are doing and were eager to help. They even arranged cake and a crown of flowers for one of our birthdays. There is a bar in the premise that serves good poolside cocktails.

The location is not directly on the beach, which can make it quite hot by day. But the pool is a good solution.

The staff were very helpful and hospitable. The differentiator was the behaviour of the staff, kind and amiable

The loft was super cute and cozy , very helpful stuff
