Parador de Cangas de Onís

Beautiful building with massive room.

Would have liked to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. We ate in the restaurant the first night. There weren’t really enough staff so it took 45 minutes to get our drinks and an hour to get food. The second evening we went to the bar hoping to get an earlier meal as service doesn’t start till 8.30pm anyway but it was a similar problem. I am not sure whether we just hit a bad patch but it was a bit frustrating. The food when it did arrive was very good and the staff generally very good.

Delightful building and excellent superior room. Great location and pleasant local walks. Very good breakfast.

Would have liked a B&B inclusive rate.

It was in a nice settting and isolated but good

The room was nice but not to the standard of paradores.The food was of low standard for paradores and some of the staff were not very nice, especially one of dining managers
