Novotel Monte-Carlo

I appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, but leaving the drain pieces on show isn't necessary. I trust that it's clean and I had to manually replace the drain parts in the shower.

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Extra Eu for breakfast despite paying 460 for one night.

Cost.

Great location, very clean, breakfast good, excellent facilities. Off site car parking very convenient (if a little expensive).

On our last night we experienced loud music playing all night in the outside bar which kept us awake for much of the night. We first thought it was a party either at the hotel or near by and initially put it down to our misfortune. We did manage to drift off to sleep around midnight but were awake again by 3am. After a little investigation we found that the music was from the outside bar - someone had forgotten to turn it off. On reporting it to the night manager it transpired that they couldn’t get access to the room to switch it off so the music continued. Being unable to sleep, at 4am we decided we may as check out and start our journey home. On checking out we registered a complaint, providing our contact details. That was almost 2 weeks ago and there has been no response! Shame because this is a very good hotel. This was my 5th stay there!
