DoubleTree by Hilton Malta

it is a big hotel with lots of guests but it seemed well organised particularly at meals. We liked the 18+ area for eating.

In the room, there is a random, unnecessary cupboard at high level above the fridge and tea making area. We hit our heads many times.

Excellent Hotel – Wonderful Staff I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. What really stood out to me, though, was how the staff Shakeel and Tanja went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally left my mobile phone in the transfer vehicle. My phone had all my important information on it, including my booking details, boarding pass and credit cards, so I was extremely worried when I realised it was missing. The hotel staff Shakeel and Tanja were absolutely amazing! They took the time to help me, contacted the relevant people and did everything they could to assist me in getting my phone back. Their kindness, patience and genuine concern made such a stressful situation so much easier for me. I cannot thank the staff enough for their help. It is moments like this that really show the quality of a hotel and the people who work there. The hotel itself was excellent, but it was the wonderful staff and their exceptional customer service that made my stay particularly memorable. Thank you to everyone who helped me — I truly appreciate everything you did. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. 5 stars from me!    Fantastic hotel and exceptional staff!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent hotel – highly recommended! I had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Malta. The hotel is in a beautiful location, our room was spotless, comfortable and very well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. Loved the choices of different location to sunbath, pools and restaurants on site. The staff were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out and made my stay even more special. A beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and a great location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! 🇲🇹❤️

Staff are wonderful and always helpful. Always checking you are good. Lovely reception staff one and all. Special mention to the young german girl who stored my bags on first and last days. Great location and opposite the Cats Whiskers beach restaurant (try the swordfish and pistachio ravioli) AMAZING beach-club with comfy sun-beds and amazing views over the sea. Wonderful choice of pools and areas to relax. Beach towels provided too. Great choice of breakfasts and lots of it. Nepalese guy at the coffee stand did a great cappuccino every morning and was always smiling and chatty. Cleaning staff clearly hard workers and always stopped to say good morning. Nice to have a shop for food and drinks on site 24hrs. Very close to main centre but far enough away from it. A 15 min stroll to the super-fast ferries to Gozo, and Valetta. Bus service outside front door to Mdina and beyond, although the BOLT taxi app should be your first download as way cheaper than the white cabs. Definitely will return.

Queue for the real coffee machine and Nepalese guy was poorly managed and causes unnecessary congestion at breakfast every morning. Could be 2 of these points in the restaurant! Didn’t like being told I could not get my hop on hop off ticket cheaper than the 50€ I paid to then see two people we met on the boat buy them easily for 30€ on Gozo at the ferry port. Also, the green bus tour for Gozo was a disgraceful shambles with no commentary. So don’t believe anyone in the tour shop in the hotel. I complained to Lara at reception but was told it was nothing to do with them. A poor attitude from Hilton as clearly they take a cut but no responsibility, it’s why I gave 9/10. All in all a great hotel though. Had a great time there. Food at the beach bar was very good too.

- pokój przestronny i bardzo czysty, - bardzo miła obsługa, - publiczny parking obok hotelu, dosyć tani i są zawsze wolne miejsca, - neolityczny zabytek na terenie hotelu, - dobre jedzenie, - pokój codziennie sprzątany, codziennie nowe ręczniki, - duża ilość wolnych stolików na śniadaniach i kolacjach.

- średnio wyciszone ściany, - bardzo słabe wyciszenie od strony korytarza z uwagi na 1-centrymetrową szparę pod drzwiami, - tłok na basenie wewnętrznym (pobyt miał miejace w styczniu), - brak szlafroków basenowych w rozmiarze dziecięcym, - brak szlafroków w pokoju, trzeba o nie prosić na recepcji, - pierwszy pokój jaki dostaliśmy miał wadliwe drzwi balkonowe, które przepuszczały dźwięki ruchu ulicznego i sąsiadów na balkonach jakby były otwarte. Na szczęście po zamianie pokoju było lepiej, - klimatyzacja głośna i tylko grzała, bez możliwości zmiany temperatury, nie ważne jakie ustawienie się wybrało (pewnie na zimę klimatyzacja chodziła w całym budynku w jakimś specjalnym trybie). W nocy robiło się przez to duszno. Rozwiązaniem było całkowite wyłączenie klimatyzacji.
