Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

The property physically is great, but the way the services are provided downgrade the hotel to 4 stars. The staff need loads of training on customer experience and care. Breakfast was not as expected from Sheraton

The check in experience was very bad, at which the staff told me to book online to get a cheaper rate, then when i did and they charged my card at the reception, they charged higher. After a long fight, i canceled my reservation and booked directly with them and the supervisor tried to sort out things, but only after frustrating me enough. Then at checkout when they activated the payment, they also charged me more than the price they gave me!! And if i didnt receive instantly a notification from my bank on the extra deduction, i would have never known that again they attempted to charge more. Then after another long frustrating conversation, they refunded the extra charge, but i still haven’t received it to clear them off

I like the deco style of the hotel and that it is very well refurbished. The location is very good. You can walk to most important places to see. Great big gym. Very good breakfast. Service is outstanding

The hotel has an excellent location, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were consistently pleasant, polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant.

The doors of the new wardrobe made an unpleasant squeaking noise when closing. More importantly, at night, once the lights were switched off, there were also strange cracking or clicking sounds coming from the panel beneath the window, where the LED lighting is installed. In an otherwise quiet room, this was quite noticeable and somewhat disturbing during the night.

Breakfast system... There was a guy who took his responsibility extremely and unnecessarily serious so each time 5-6 people were waiting in the queue to have breakfast He was asking the room number of the guest, checking his list, acting very slow and then personally was leading every single guest to the breakfast hall and showing them where to sit. This was causing the other guests wait for him to arrive and repeat the same procedures which was causing a line of minimum 5-6 people waiting for 5 minutes Ridiculous. Just let everybody to sit at a table they chose like it is in every hotel. So simple
