ibis Leuven Centrum

I was traveling alone and rented the smallest room in the place with a twin bed. It was actually pretty comfortable and the paid parking worked out great because the Ibis is really close to the heart of the city and made everything walkable. If you know the Ibis brand this hotel was on brand. I had a good solid stay, in a clean, quiet room in the heart of the city. It was exactly what I expected, nothing fancy or memorable but on point and a fair price for a room in this proximity of Leuven.

The location is close to the tourist centre and many restaurants (e.g. Nepalese, Syrian, Italian, Mexican, etc.). The hotel arranged gluten-free bread for breakfast on request at no extra cost. Also, the on-site parking is safe.

Rooms are quite small and the price for the accommodation is relatively high in relation to what you get. Also, I found the extra on-site parking fee of 20 euro per night high.

Outstanding staff. I am didabled on a mobility scooter. When the lift broke and I was on the 5th floor the staff carried my luggage and scooter downstairs whilst I walked down on my crutches. They were so helpful. The lift was fixed within a couple of hours and I was given a new room on the first floor. Outstanding customer service. Thank you. Fine for people mobility problems. My scooter just fitted in the lift
