A Little House In Rechavia

The breakfast line was very plentiful, with many choices, including choice of cake and fruit. We liked the fact there was sourdough bread. We felt the place was secure having an entrance code for guests. The location was a short walk to the venue we needed to get to on King George Street, which was the reason for our choice, based on previous reviews.

A bathmat for the bath/shower would have been a plus. The general decor seems rather "tired" and in need of renovation. It was fine for a one night stay.

I had stayed in a little house in Baka for 3 nights 2 weeks ago. This was one night just as I was getting ready to leave Israel. Room was nicer than Baka, but breakfast was not nearly as plentiful. It was walkable from the hotel where my program housed me, and a good price so I selected it for the one night. Overall was a good experience.

Breakfast was not as plentiful with selections, especially not having anything but instant coffee.

Shower curtain was mouldy

The location was excellent for our purposes, and so was the welcome. The person who welcomed us was helpful and gave us directions when we asked him.He also offered to help with anything else we might need. The beds were comfortable.

Smell of something chemical (spray?) in the room and bathroom. There was no net on the window, so we couldn't open it, because when we did, a pigeon flew in and at night there were mosquitos, so we didn't sleep so well. When we came into the room, there was an empty plastic bottle on the floor, which made us wonder how well the room was cleaned. As I said, the smell in the room and the bathroom, and that of the bedsheets wasn't very inviting...
