Genusshotel Riegersburg

Property is generally well designed and pleasant.

There was an issue with our booking, related to Booking.com not passing a reservation change request to the hotel‘s system. The staff at the reception did not react well to the situation, and made us feel like we were trying to rip them off, by showing up with more persons than booked. I would have expected the staff to point out the inconsistency and offer to contact Booking.com to resolve on our behalf. Instead, we were antagonized, and essentially stopped receiving services - no welcome drink, no explanations on the hotel, no help with the luggage. We had to spend our stay on the phone with Booking.com trying to sort it out ourselves. While I am sure that I was not at my maximum level of friendliness, after a bad surprise at check in and a 4 hour drive, I expect more professionalism from a front desk professional in handling these types of situations.

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Zimmer mit einem wahnsinnig tollen Ausblick auf die Riegersburg. Besonders unkompliziert waren der Early Check-in und der Late Check-out – beides hat reibungslos funktioniert. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war außerdem fantastisch und ein perfekter Abschluss unseres Aufenthalts.

Es gab für uns absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Kuscheltier Geister für die Kinder, Bademäntel in den Größen der Kinder lagen auf den Betten bereitgelegt. Das Personal war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend.
