The Serangoon House Little India, Singapore, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The breakfast options were good trying to satisfy all the customers and the Indian cuisine is a plus point for them to be occupied by Indian customers. We've tried Poha, Upma, Aloo Paratha (It was like a pancake on the first day & I showed them the softness of Aloo Paratha and it was made like that for the remaining days). In the case of the Bed & Bed comfort, it was really the best as it can accommodate 2 adults + 2 kids easily.

The storage spaces were lesser compared to my other hotel visits. There was no space for the suitcases to be stored & utilizing items from them. Cupboards were there separately for storing items. The restroom felt a little cramped. And the mix of hot & cold water was little messy (sometimes it becomes too hot / cold especially in shower). There was no place to keep the toothbrush properly (often it fell out from the glass tumbler provided to the bathroom floor. The stylish design of Bed had caused our head to bump on the side shapes.

Nice place with very friendly morning staff and a very good breakfast. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was also very pleasant. The kids loved sleeping in the upper bed, which was ideal for us. The hotel is compact, so everything is easy and quick to reach.

The room was extremely small, but this seems common in Singapore. The AC was a bit difficult to adjust and restarted automatically, and the sound insulation was quite poor. Still, compared with other places we stayed, this is probably the one we would choose again.
