Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Surin Beach by IHG

We have stayed at this hotel several times and were absolutely delighted once again! Whenever we visit Surin Beach, we only stay at this hotel — and for good reason. This time we traveled with my parents (our children's grandparents), and the hotel kindly arranged our rooms next to each other, just as we requested—very convenient. Everything was very comfortable, and the hotel has elevators, which was a big plus for us. The territory is large, well-kept, and the pools are very clean. The staff was friendly and always ready to help, and the breakfast was excellent. A special thank you to Champi for her constant help and care, and to the housekeeping team — Mic and Laila — for keeping our room spotless every day. We are very happy with our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday!

Highlights: • Great location — the sea is just a short walk away. • Large, well-maintained grounds, very comfortable for families with children. • The hotel itself is very well-kept, and the pools are spotless. • There are playrooms and a kids club for children — our child always has something to do. • Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choices. • Very friendly and attentive staff. A special thank you to Champi — she was always helpful and resolved everything very quickly. At check-in, our room was prepared promptly, and for that we would like to thank Mic and Laila in particular. We will definitely come back again — and more than once! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The beach was a 200 - 300 m walk and the beach did not have any shacks where one could sit in shade. The meal options at the Surin beach were not appetizing or looked clean / healthy. The hotel was well appointed, good staff, great room - we were upgradd since we went in off season and we really appreciated that. the pool was right outside the door. Nearby good eating places, massage establishments and money changers. The property is kids oriented and some one with kids upto 10 years would enjoy

The location was great, quiet and opposite a lovely beach and plenty of shops and restaurants around. A short taxi ride to bang Tao beach which is also full of beach restaurants and bars.

The shower only came out cold throughout our whole stay, and the beds were so hard and I found it uncomfortable. The whole hotel is tired and well overdue a refurb to be a 4* breakfast selection wasn’t overly appealing
